Subterranean Homesick Blues: A Tribute to Bob Dylan’s Bringing It All Back Home

Posted on

This Tuesday (October 5th), Reimagine Music will pay tribute to Bob Dylan’s classic 1965 album Bringing It All Back Home. The chosen LP comes from Dylan’s transitional period; a moment where he was beginning to embrace the electric guitar, but still not quite willing to let go of the acoustic Greenwich Village folk of his early records. Titled Subterranean Homesick Blues, the digital-only release features artists such as The Morning Benders, Peter Bjorn and John’s Peter Moren, and Fleet Foxes member J. Tillman. While these compilations are typically hit or miss, you can preview The Morning Bender’s version of “Outlaw Blues” below in exchange for an email address. Full tracklist after the jump.
