Here’s a dope collaboration (Jet Life x Odd Future x Black Hippy) off Smoke DZA’s Rugby Thompson, produced entirely by Harry Fraud. The album is in stores June 19th via High Times Records and Cinematic Music Group.

Well new graduates, welcome to the real world of happy hours, nine to fives, and 401ks. Take comfort in the unknown. The rest of the world is still trying to figure it all out as well. This smooth summer dance jam and accompanying visual from the head of Fools Gold x Mad Decent artist are both pretty great.

The English duo are not new to the electronic scene. Producing music since 2007, James Ford and Jas Shaw have been consistently churning out material for turn tables all over the world. A sort of ambient, flowing vibe pervades their newest album, Unpatterns. Analogue production is specked with looped vocals eluding to heartache and loss, resulting in a strangely poignant trend throughout. Yet, true to their name, catchy tracks worthy of  late-night dance-offs are blended  in, combining nostalgic struggle with a heartfelt attempt to move on.  Let’s hope they illuminate our local live music establishments sometime soon.

It’s a beautiful day in the Northeast, and every great weather day deserves a great tune to enjoy along side it. The freshest track from Goldroom draws the mind’s eye right to sun and hazy Sunday afternoons. “Fifteen” should spin on repeat on your weekday playlists. I am not exactly sure who Modern Rivals would like to throw out a window, but I do know they channeled some serious Vampire Weekend love on “Defenestrate You.” It’s a delightful song nonetheless and the band has a new EP out for free, which you can grab at their bandcamp page. Personally, I loved what this band was doing before and my opinion has not changed a bit with this new release. The more music they produce the better off we all are.
